On October 13th, 2023 Dr. Carmen Estrada Schaye joined U.S. former secretary of labor, Supervisor Hilda Solis, to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with honorary guest producer, director, and star Edward James Olmos and one of the most influential labor activists of the 20th century & U.S. presidential medal of freedom awardee, Dolores Huerta.
